Above and Beyond
Every time I'm commissioned to photograph a family or property I make the conscious decision to give the customer more than what they asked for. Why? Because I truly enjoy my art and because I appreciate that they choose me out of the many photographers in the Houston area. Is this manipulative or just being a good business manager? It surely could be seen that way but I'm more interested in the customer's response to the extra effort versus what more they can give me. Why? Because I'm constantly pushing the boundaries of my art and what I'm capable of. So with that, I pose this question. Are you going above and beyond? Or, are you just doing the minimum? Are you just getting by?
